President's background
1990 | Started researching ceramic PTC thermistors as a manager of an electronics component department at a large ceramics manufacturing company. |
1998 | Developed and commercialized a PTC thermistor with the world's lowest resistivity by using the liquid-phase method, and this PTC thermistor was employed as a component for vehicle door mirrors. |
1999 | Worked as the New Business Development Manager at HQ and the Electronic Component Lab. And developed a PTC thermistor product for carburetors. It was used by a motorcycle parts manufacturer. |
August 2006 | President Makishima retires from a major ceramics manufacturing company and establishes Maximum Technology Co., Ltd. as a PTC development maker. |
February 2008 | Gained ISO9001 (2000 Edition) certification. |
June 2008 | Our R&D activity was selected as one of the projects in Kanagawa Pref.'s Model Project for Creating Venture Businesses Born at Large Companies or Universities. |
August 2009 | The R&D activity was selected as one of the programs in the Japan Science & Technology Agency’s (JST) Priority Areas R&D Programs. |
November 2009 | The R&D activity was selected as one of the subsidized projects of the Small or Venture Business Promotion Fund. |
June 2011 | Our product development was selected as one of the programs in Kanagawa Pref.'s Small Business New Product Development Support Project. |
2012 | Our R&D theme was selected as one of the projects in the New Energy Venture Business Technology Innovation Program of the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). |
November 2015 | Our development of "PTC heaters" has been certified under Kanagawa Prefecture's "Creative New Technology Research and Development Program." |
December 2015 | Received certification from Kanagawa Industrial Promotion Center KIP of named "KIRARI HIKARU" corporate support project. |
December 2017 | Received "Kanagawa Prefecture Best Ace" certification from KIP. |
August 2018 | Certified as "Kanagawa Innovation Strategic Support Projects" by KIP and its affiliates. |
May 2019 | Our research and development theme "Development of safety components for preventing from electrical system problems stemming from Li-ion batteries" was adopted by NEDO. |
April 2021 | Our business innovation plan has been approved by Kanagawa Prefecture. |
March 2022 | Certified for the Small and Medium Enterprise Business Restructuring Subsidy. |
